A slap in the face, a breath of fresh air, a cozy Sunday night, or a strong solid handshake.
These are all examples of experiences that I strive to convey through my designs. Looking at a design can convey feelings, emotions, and memories. Making use of that is a big part of my creative process. What is the design supposed to feel like and what colors, shapes, fonts, and space can achieve that feeling? I discovered my passion is in illustration and handwritten lettering when I fell in love with the way a harsh word can look beautiful and a delicate word can look coarse depending on how you write it. This contributes to my designs in a unique way that not only adds character but variety. Whether it's a slap in the face or a strong solid handshake, my designs can convey that feeling.
